'Big Push' launched to help tackle global health goals
Listen /UN agencies and their partners are mobilizing efforts to reach health-related Millennium Development Goals by 2015, including the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.
The agency has supported various programmes that focus on eliminating the deaths of young children and women of child-bearing age.
In a bid to give a 'Big Push' to raise funds and support to reach the health goals before the deadline, a global campaign has kicked off.
Gabriel Jaramillo, General Manager of the Global Fund, told UN Radio's Jocelyne Sambira what the campaign is about.
