Sri Lanka initiative turns garbage collectors into green jobs pioneers

There's a popular saying: "One man's trash is another man's treasure." For waste pickers in Sri Lanka, collecting trash is not only profitable but also ecologically sound.
These workers, who scour garbage dumps for items to resell, are being trained by the International Labour Organization (ILO) so that their work benefits the environment while providing an income.
