Human trafficking, says the United Nations, is the acquisition of people by improper means such as force, fraud or deception, with the aim of exploiting them.

Human trafficking is taking place in one of the world's newest nations, South Sudan.

Two teenage girls who were abducted by human traffickers were returned to their native Kenya, in the first case of its kind to be documented by the International Organization for Migration (IOM), in South Sudan.
