Working mother in El Salvador returns to her farming roots with WFP supportListen /
Karla Trujillo, a working mother in El Salvador, felt the many hours she spent at her office job was eating away at the time she had with her children and also distancing her from her roots in farming.
So Trujillo decided to chuck in the corporate life to return to the family farm, located in the western part of the country.
She received training from the World Food Programme (WFP) which runs a "Purchase for Progress" scheme that supports small scale producers. WFP's Frances Kennedy has the story.
