UNHCR concerned by thousands fleeing Syria
Listen /Dramatic numbers of people have been displaced by the ongoing violence in Syria, according to the UN refugee agency UNHCR.
It's been estimated that already one million people have been forced to flee inside the country since the conflict began in March of 2011.
On Thursday, the UN Security Council voted unanimously to extend by 30 days the mandate of UNSMIS, the UN mission designed to reduce tensions in the country.
