Global Innovation index ranks Switzerland first in 2012
The Global Innovation Index rates Switzerland as the number one country in innovative performance.
The Index, created in part by WIPO, the World Intellectual Property Organization, ranks 141 countries and economies on their ability to innovate and on the results that are achieved.
For the past two years, Switzerland has been at the top of the list.
