SG welcomes conclusion of Egypt's Presidential election process

The UN Secretary-General has congratulated the winner of Egypt's presidential election.
The Secretary-General said in a statement that he trusts president-elect Mohamed Morsy will spare no effort in ensuring the people of Egypt realize their aspirations for greater democracy, the promotion of human rights, and a more prosperous and stable country.
Mr. Ban also commended the Egyptian people for the peaceful atmosphere in which the elections were held.
