Rio+20 conference chief tells delegates "come ready to commit"Listen /
The countdown has begun for the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development known as Rio+20.
More than 50,000 people, including 135 heads of state, are expected to attend the forum in Brazil this month.
Maoqi Li spoke to Sha Zukang, the senior UN official who is serving as the Secretary-General of the conference.
Mr. Sha hopes that in a world where 20 per cent of the population consumes 80 per cent of the resources, Rio+20 will bring about what he calls "a transformation of mindset."
