Civil society disappointed with outcome of Rio+20

Member states on Friday adopted the final outcome document of the Rio+20 conference on sustainable development.

Ahead of the official ceremony, some civil society organizations expressed disappointment that the declaration did not go far enough in combating climate change, creating decent jobs and addressing imbalances between the rich and poor.
