Aung San Suu Kyi calls for "democracy-friendly" aid and investment in Myanmar
Listen /A day after the International Labour Organization lifted restrictions on Myanmar, Aung San Suu Kyi calls for aid and investment in her country.
The pro-democracy leader and member of Myanmar's Parliament made the request at the International Labour Conference in Geneva, Thursday.
She says Myanmar needs investment that will help strengthen the democratization process by promoting social and economic progress that is beneficial to political reform.
