WHO chief believes best days for public health yet to come

The head of the World Health Organization (WHO) has praised countries working to provide health care for all their citizens despite ongoing financial pressures.
Addressing the World Health Assembly in Geneva on Monday, Dr. Margaret Chan described universal health coverage as "the single most powerful concept that public health has to offer."
She said despite the dismal economic climate, the best days for health care lie ahead.
