A musical extravaganza of musicians from around the world gathered, celebrated and performed the universal power of jazz — Stevie Wonder, Sheila E, Jimmy Heath, Angelique Kidjo, Wynton Marsalis, Lang Lang, Hugh Masakela and many more.
Herbie Hancock said the concert was the culmination of his career long dream for people all over the world to devote one day a year to celebrate the music that has shaped his life.
