Chinese pianist Lang Lang says in music there are no barriers, instead it brings people together.
The UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador was just one of several musicians to take part in the first annual International Jazz Day concert at the United Nations on 30 April.
The Day seeks to spotlight the historic influence the jazz music genre has had in connecting people. Lang Lang performed Leonard Berstein's "Tonight from "West Side Story" with Herbie Hancock.
