Friends of Yemen pledge $4 billion to assist the country

Roughly $4 billion has been pledged to support Yemen as the country struggles with a political transition and a growing threat from Al-Qaeda.
The Friends of Yemen meeting was held in Saudi Arabia's capital, Riyadh, on Wednesday.
Representatives from several countries and international organizations attended.
Reem Abaza spoke to UN Resident Coordinator in Yemen, Ould Cheikh Ahmed, who said the meeting was very successful.
