The road to the UN Rio+20 Summit: where are we?

Listen /

Preparations for the UN Rio+20 Summit are moving along at a fast pace with just over a month to go before the world comes together to map out a plan for sustainability.

It is known as Rio+20 because it marks the twentieth anniversary of the United Nations Conference on Environments and Development (Rio-92).

The summit will be held in June in Brazil, but before that there is a plan of action which is being debated now.
