Syrian authorities have not heeded call to stop violence: Ban Ki-moon
Listen /Syrian authorities have not heeded the call of the UN General Assembly to put an end to human rights violations in the country.
That's what United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon said in his report to the General Assembly on Friday afternoon.
Mr. Ban said freedom of expression continues to be restricted and many human rights defenders, activists, protesters and journalists are being arrested or detained.
