ICC issues arrest warrant for Sudanese defence minister
Sudanese Defence Minister Abdelrahim Mohamed Hussein is now a wanted man for alleged war crimes.
The International Criminal Court (ICC) has issued an arrest warrant against Mr. Hussein on 41 counts of crimes against humanity and war crimes committed in Darfur from 2003 to 2004.
This is the ICC's fourth case in Darfur. Arrest warrants have been issued against Sudanese President Omar Al-Bashir for genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes, and summons to appear for rebel leaders Abdallah Banda, Saleh Jerbo and Abu Garda for alleged war crimes.
