To express its gratitude for the support received following the earthquake and tsunami, Japan hosted a series of free concerts.
The first concert organized by Japan's mission to the UN along with the Japan Foundation in New York was held at UN headquarters.
Beng Poblete-Enriquez prepared this piece using elements from the concert, which featured the group Ondekoza, a professional Japanese drumming troupe, along with other musicians from the country.
