Stabilization of South Sudan needed to ensure peace
Listen /South Sudan needs to experience a period of stability before peace can come to the newly independent country.
That's according to the head of the United Nations Mission in South Sudan, Hilde Johnson.
Ethnic clashes between the Lou Nuer and Murle communities have led to the displacement of thousands of people in Jonglei state during January.
Donn Bobb asked Ms Johnson if the Murle community had retaliated following the attack by 7000 Lou Nuer youth on two towns in the state.
