Four Asian countries to benefit from humanitarian aid

Four Asian countries are receiving $35 million from a United Nations emergency fund which supports underfunded or forgotten humanitarian crises.

In total 13 countries, mainly in Africa, will share $104 million from the UN's Central Emergency Response Fund or CERF.

UN agencies working in Pakistan, Nepal, the Philippines and North Korea are being allocated funds to deal with ongoing humanitarian crises.

Daniel Dickinson asked Steve O'Malley, the CERF chief, which countries will benefit most.
