2012 at the UN; a journalist's view point

Nuclear safety and the outcome of the democracy movements sweeping across the Arab world are expected to be the focus of attention in 2012 for many journalists working at the United Nations.

Correspondents from around the world follow global events from the headquarters of the UN in New York.

Paolo Mastrolilli is one of them. He writes for the Italian daily newspaper La Stampa.

Daniel Dickinson asked him which stories he will be monitoring over the next year.
