Haiti enters "stabilization process"
Listen /Haiti is entering what's been described as a "stabilization process" following the election of a new government earlier this year.
The Caribbean country was devastated by an earthquake in January last year.
In 2011, a cholera outbreak killed up to 7000 people and was widely blamed by Haitians on the UN peacekeeping mission, MINUSTAH.
Mariano Fernandez is the Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General to Haiti.
