When an emergency occurs, prompt, early action is needed to reduce loss of life.
The Central Emergency Response Fund, also known as CERF, is a fund established by the United Nations to provide humanitarian assistance to those affected by natural disasters and armed conflict.
Gerry Adams spoke to Steve O'Malley, Chief of the CERF Secretariat, who explained how communities can benefit by this Fund.
