Using aquaculture to meet world food needs

In October, the world's population reached 7 billion, according to United Nations demographers.

As the population grows, so does the need for food.

FAO, the UN Food and Agriculture Organization, says aquaculture, the farming of fish and other aquatic animals, can meet the growing demand for fish.
