"Race against time" to feed Somalis

The international community faces what's been described as a "race against time" to get food to the famine-affected areas of Somalia.

Famine was declared in a number of southern regions in the Horn of Africa country around 100 days ago.

But ongoing conflict and the onset of the rainy season has made accessing the most vulnerable people difficult.

Mark Bowden is the UN Humanitarian Coordinator for Somalia.

Ari Gaitanis asked him about the current situation on the ground.
