Progress in developing countries threatened by climate change
Climate change and habitat destruction are threatening progress in developing countries, according to the 2011 Human Development Report.
The report, which assesses national achievements in health, education and income, has been issued by the UN Development Programme (UNDP).
It says that countries ranked in the bottom quarter of its human development index, have made remarkable progress.
But, as Claire Doole reports, it warns that these gains could be reversed due to environmental degradation.
