Angolan refugees repatriated from the DR Congo

A large number of Angolans fled to the DRC during the civil war

Angolan refugees living in the Democratic Republic of the Congo are on their way home.

The refugees fled Angola during the civil war in the south-west African country which ended almost a decade ago.

Now, the UN refugee agency (UNHCR) says improving living conditions are encouraging more people to return.
