The work of the UN is to advance international peace and security and that's what the Security Council President for the month of October plans to do.
Nigerian Ambassador, Joy Ogwu, says despite a rift within the council over possible sanctions against Syria, she believes, in the end, advancements toward peace and security will be made.
Julie Walker spoke with Ms. Ogwu about the council's work for the month and her views on being an Ambassador.
