Liberians are going to the polls on Tuesday to vote for their president and members of parliament.

It is the first time that the elections will be organized and run by the Liberia National Electoral Commission.

The country, which is recovering from a 14-year civil war, has enjoyed peace for eight years.

Derrick Mbatha spoke to the spokesperson for the UN Mission in Liberia (UNMIL), Yasmina Bouziane, to find out more.
