Victims of 9/11 terrorist attacks remembered at UN

Secretary-General Kofi Annan and U.S. President George Bush visit Ground Zero of terror attacks

The victims of the terrorist attacks against the United States on the 11th September 2001 have been remembered at a ceremony at the United Nations in New York.

Three thousand people died in attacks on the World Trade Centre in New York, the Pentagon in Washington and a third failed attack in which a hijacked plane crashed into a field in Pennsylvania killing all those on board.
