Long days, tight deadlines for media at GA

It's the biggest gathering of world leaders so for journalists who cover global diplomacy, there's nowhere else that quite matches the United Nations General Assembly debate.

Two thousand journalists from across the world were in New York for the seven-day-long event, which has just drawn to a close.

They have to juggle tight deadlines and work in even tighter quarters. There are sleepless nights and long days of listening to speech after speech. But, when it's all over, there is a sense of accomplishment like no other says Voice of Russia radio's Vasili Sushko.

Julie Walker spoke with Mr. Sushko on the last day of the GA debate.
