Literacy NGO receives 2011 UNESCO Confucius Prize

A global organization that seeks to ensure a world in which all children can pursue a quality education has been awarded the UNESCO 2011 Confucius Prize for Literacy.

The US-based non-profit Room to Read organisation has published 553 original children's book titles in 25 languages and printed more than 4.1 million books.

On International Literacy Day [8th Sep], Jocelyne Sambira has been speaking to Erin Ganju the co-founder and CEO of Room to Read about winning the UN cultural organization's prize:
