Former child soldier on his responsibilities as an Advocate for Children Affected by War
We first met Ishmael Beah as a former child soldier from Sierra Leone.
Since then, he's become a UN Goodwill Ambassador and has authored a book about his experiences during Sierra Leone's protracted civil war.
Mr. Beah is currently a UNICEF Advocate for Children Affected by War.
