Displaced Kenyans "in need of urgent help"

Authorities in Kenya are being urged to do more to help people who have been made homeless following political violence or forced evictions.

Approximately 600,000 people were displaced in Kenya following post-election violence in 2008.

Chaloka Beyani, an independent United Nations expert concluded a nine-day visit to the east African country on Tuesday.

Mr. Beyani told Derrick Mbatha why it is urgent for the Kenyan government to take measures to help the displaced people in the East African country.
