Côte d'Ivoire's President "confident" about country's future

President Alassane Ouattara of Côte d'Ivoire

Confidence in the future may be in short supply in parts of Africa at the moment, but the President of Côte d’Ivoire, a country recently enduring civil war, says he has plenty of it.

President Alassane Ouattara was at the UN General Assembly in New York to address world leaders and to assure them that the West African country is ready to move on following those disputed Presidential elections that brought fighting to his country.

President Ouattara is also ready to welcome the business community to Côte d’Ivoire.

Julie Walker spoke with him about his speech at the UN.
