Climate change tests Bhutan Gross National Happiness

Climate change is raising its ugly head and testing what the south Asian country of Bhutan calls it Gross National Happiness.

The country has been making remarkable economic and human development gains which are factors that contribute to this notion of happiness.

Now, the melting glaciers and changing weather patterns are threatening this happiness.

Beng Poblete-Enriquez spoke to Ajay Chhibber, Assistant-Secretary-General of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to find out more about Bhutan's Gross National Happiness and this threat of climate change.
