UN Human Rights Council meets on Syria
Violence against civilians has escalated in Syria even after President Bashar Al-Assad's promise to the United Nations to end army operations.
At least 40 people have been killed since last week, bringing the total number of casualties to two thousand, according to the UN human rights chief, Navi Pillay.
The Human Rights Council has convened a special session on Syria where Navi Pillay has called for further investigations into the massacre of civilian demonstrators.
She spoke to Ben Malor about the importance of achieving justice for the crimes committed.
