Kenyan agricultural specialist continues to benefit from IAEA fellowship
KARI, the Kenya Agricultural Research Institute, has sent many agricultural specialists to participate in a fellowship programme sponsored by the International Atomic Energy Agency, the IAEA.
The programme gives men and women from all its member states a chance to get project-related, on-the-job experience and training at the Agency's laboratories and in field projects around the world.
Isaya Vincent Sijali, Coordinator of Irrigation at KARI, was an IAEA fellow in 1995 in the USA.
He told Louise Potterton he learned a lot from his experience, expertise he continues to put into practice today in Kenya.
