Cholera resurfaces in Chad

Chad's growing cholera problem has raised the concern of humanitarian workers on the ground. Cholera outbreaks in the country usually appear during the rainy season but the disease has persisted throughout the dry season as well. Climate experts believe that extreme weather conditions have changed the ecology of the virus, causing it to multiply and spread rapidly.
