The United States is calling on donor countries to do more in the fight against AIDS, especially in the developing world.

Over 3.2 million people, most of them in Africa, are currently receiving treatment for HIV and AIDS through, PEPFAR, the US President's $48 billion Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief,

Julie Walker has been speaking with Ambassador Eric Goosby, the U.S. Global AIDS Coordinator who was at the UN for a high-level conference on HIV and AIDS

She asked him how far the world has come in the 30 years since the first case was discovered and what needs to be done now.
