Iran and Syria urged to comply with UN nuclear watchdog

Iran and Syria are being urged by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to comply with the agency's nuclear verification programme.

Iran and Syria are both members of the Nuclear Non Proliferation Treaty or NPT which limits the spread of nuclear weapons.

The IAEA says the two Middle Eastern countries' nuclear related activities are cause for concern.
