Companies are looking at ways to adapt their activities so that they continue to be in business in the era of climate change.

The United Nations, through its Global Compact Office, is involving businesses around the world to play their role in promoting sustainable development for the benefit of societies everywhere.

The Global Compact, which has more than 8,700 corporate participants and other stakeholders from over 130 countries, is the largest voluntary corporate responsibility initiative in the world.

Sir Mark Moody-Stuart, the Chairman of the Global Compact's charitable foundation tells Derrick Mbatha about how the private sector is looking at the challenge of climate change.
