Ban Ki-moon, who has been serving as the United Nations Secretary-General since 2007 has been reappointed for another five year term.  The General Assembly, made up of 192 Member States made the decision on Tuesday in New York.  Charles Appel has compiled this report

Working towards a smoke free Bangladesh

Forty-three per cent of people in Bangladesh are smokers. Eleven million chew their tobacco with disastrous consequences for health.  Aminul Islam Sujon has an uncle who died of lung cancer from a 25 year old smoking habit.  Selected as Bangladesh's Global Cancer Ambassador by the American Cancer Society, he spoke to Jocelyne Sambira about his uncle and the anti-tobacco movement in his country.
