A “workable plan of action” is urgently needed to help the world’s poorest countries break out of poverty according to the United Nations Secretary-General.
The international community is meeting in Istanbul, Turkey from Monday, to discuss what needs to be done to ensure economic and social development in the world’s 48 least developed countries or LDC.
Daniel Dickinson asked Ban Ki-moon, how quickly the international community needs to come up with a solution for the LDCs.
