UN human rights chief condemns increased use of force in Yemen

There are reports that more than fifty anti-government protestors in Yemen have been killed, and hundreds injured, after security forces used live ammunition against them in the city of Taiz.

Navi Pillay, the United Nations' High Commissioner for Human Rights, has condemned the increased use of force against protestors and says her office is investigating the claims.
