New development approach needed for least developed countries
People living in the world’s poorest countries have benefited little from decades of development programmes.
That’s the view of Azeb Girmai who is representing an Ethiopian NGO at a United Nations conference in Turkey aimed at pulling the 48 least developed countries or LDCs out of poverty
They suffer extreme underdevelopment, poor governance and inadequate infrastructure.
