France focuses on hotspots as leader of the UN Security Council in May
The work of the General Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court on Libya, the role of the United Nations in Sudan once South Sudan becomes independent and a meeting on the Democratic Republic of the Congo are just some of the topics on the agenda of the Security Council in May.
The rotating presidency for the month is held by France. Gerard Araud, France’s Permanent Representative to the UN, spoke to Gerry Adams.
