WFP has managed to bring in some supplies to Western Libya from Tunisia, but it has not been able to reach the areas most affected by the fighting, around Yefrin and Zintan in the Western Mountains.

Josette Sheeran, WFP Executive Director, has called for an immediate ceasefire.

She also says WFP needs access to Misrata, where shelling of the port is again making it difficult to send aid.
