Law and order should remain a priority in Côte d'Ivoire in order to avoid what the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Ban Ki-moon has called  a "security vacuum".

The West African country inaugurated its new president,  Alassane Ouatarra, on Saturday following six months of conflict, caused by the refusal of the previous president to step down.

Ban Ki-moon attended the inauguration and afterwards Lucie Attikpa-Tetegan from the UN-backed radio station for Côte d'Ivoire, ONUCI FM asked him what he thought of the country;s immediate future.
