Aid agencies are issuing a warning about the dire humanitarian situation in Libya and are calling for more funding to help people caught up in the ongoing civil conflict.

On Friday, a ship carrying migrants was able to leave Misrata, one of the cities hardest hit by fighting between troops loyal to Muammar Qadhafi and those opposing him.

The United Nations is warning that more than 300,000 people in the North African country have been forced from their homes due to the conflict…they’re still stuck in the country, unable to leave.
